Some background on this poem. A whiskey related YouTube channel I watch just crossed over 100k subscribers early today. When I hit I was inspired to write a short poem to honor the moment. So here is “To the Crossing”:

Raise a glass
To the high class
Of such Magnificent Bastards!

We’ve come so far
Well beyond par
For such Magnificent Bastards!

A threshold is crossed
May the whiskey be tossed
For two Magnificent Bastards!

But remember where we started
Before we were lauded
As such Magnificent Bastards!

And welcome the new comers
For they are also founders
Of we Magnificent Bastards!
