The only thing disturbing is the cavalier way in which large swaths of Americans, and their elected officials, are disregarding the danger of this virus. The only reason we are seeing an increase in new cases is due to the immoral behavior of the President, and the political weakness of state governors.
Compounding the immoral behavior, and political weakness, is the ignorance of millions of Americans who genuinely believe the virus is a hoax, or care so little about the health of others, that they demand and opening of the economy. The refuse to social distance, refuse to wear masks, and rail against those that do.
This Nation needs real leadership. Leadership that understand the importance of science, and morality. Leadership that actually cares for people.
